Judith Visser is bekend van veel jeugdboeken en meer recent van de trilogie Zondagskind, Zondagsleven, Zondagskracht; in dit drieluik vertelt ze over haar leven met een vorm van autisme. De boeken staan in het lokaal van Nederlands en mogen gelezen worden voor de lijst.<br \/>\nJudith kwam op bezoek met een van haar drie honden, Fontana, en zij vertelde heel helder wat autisme betekent voor een kind dat leeft in onze \u2018normale\u2019 mensen-maatschappij. Voor haar als kleuter was naar school gaan een drama. Omgaan met klasgenootjes was ingewikkeld, onder andere doordat ze pas rond haar 15e kon praten. Je bewegen in het sociale verkeer en omgaan met vele prikkels: het was allemaal doodvermoeiend voor Judith Visser. Een van de tips die ze onze leerlingen gaf: cre\u00eber voor jezelf een veilige, fijne plek, waar je jezelf kunt zijn. En bouw je leven op zoals jij dat wilt, met bezigheden die jij \u2018aan kunt\u2019 en waar je je fijn bij voelt.<br \/>\nNa afloop konden de leerlingen haar hond Fontana aaien en een meegebracht boek laten signeren.
